Unashamed

“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes…” Romans 1:16 NKJV

Hello Princess! I pray that God will continue to impress this WORD upon your heart even after you have read this blog. God is calling for us to live righteous lives for Him, unashamed. When we look at the apostles in the book of Acts, when we look at Paul and his writing for prayer for more boldness in Ephesians 6, we see a common thread. There is a boldness that accompanies all persons who are filled with the Spirit of God. This boldness comes from God alone and it is a fearless declaration of the power, glory and will of God.

People say that a sinner can come to repentance just by watching a silent Christian witness. I beg to differ. There will ALWAYS come a time where the explanation for your lifestyle and devotion to God will call for a verbal witness. The world will not know until you open your mouth and speak.  That is why the devil constantly wants to keep us under a load of fear, worry, doubt, pride, anything that will reason away the need to verbalize the hope of glory that is within us. Don’t let the enemy win. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is more powerful than any story known to man because the WORD is alive and relevant and strong enough to bring salvation to everyone who believes.

As a member of the royal family, you have the answer to every problem, the solution to every dilemma. His Name is Jesus. The Holy Spirit Who is inside of you reveals Jesus as you study the WORD and sit under Spirit-led teachings of the WORD. Now, it is for us to refuse to be ashamed of the Gospel. We must talk about Him, bring Jesus into our conversation, take every opportunity to give our testimony of why we believe. It can mean salvation for anyone and everyone you come in contact with.
