This world has found itself in a mess and there is only one way out. This mess was started way before anyone alive today was born. This mess was not created by any king or president. This mess happened because of sin.

An act of disobedience caused this mess and it will take and act of obedience to fix it. No amount of meetings, gatherings by the round table, summits, conferences, no amount of money will ever fix the problem that this world is facing. This world has a sin problem.

Proverbs 14:34 says, "Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a disgrace to any people." (NIV)

When we think about disgrace, we think about loss of respect or shame upon someone or something.

Genesis 2:25 says, "Now the man and his wife were both naked, but they felt no shame."  (NLT)

As we continue to read Genesis 3:6-7 we discover that after Adam and Eve disobeyed the Lord and ate the forbidden fruit, their eyes were opened. They knew they were naked and they tried to hide their shame. That is where the mess started and since then, humankind has tried various ways to come up with a solution to fix it.This is the reason why we have Easter, it is the cleaning solution to wipe away the mess caused by sin.

So John 3:16 tells us that God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believes He was able to clean up the mess will be saved from the destruction that is to come. If you think the things that are happening now are bad, you ain't seen nothing yet!
