Isaiah 9:6 says "For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given; and the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace." All these are wonderful gifts wrapped up in joy. This what Christmas is all about, Jesus Christ coming to the earth to demonstrate the Love of God.  

"So Pastor Clyde, who is Jesus?" Jesus is God Himself coming to earth in the form of a Man, bringing joy to every man, every woman, every boy and every girl who is willing to accept the wonderful Gift of God. It is the ONLY lasting joy; it is eternal joy.

We must understand one thing about Christmas, it's not a day, it's not a season, it is a Plan of Rescue. Salvation is the state of being saved, which means that humankind was lost and God came up with the perfect plan to save us. Christmas  is a free Gift from God and the cost was covered by the Blood of Jesus Christ.

Romans 6:23 says "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." If you have never experienced this Gift, all you need to say is this, "Jesus I am glad You came to this world as my special Gift. I now receive you into my heart. Forgive me of all my sins, in Jesus' Name Amen!"
